Pre-flop: (7 players) Hero is SB with 4♠ 4♣
3 folds, CO calls, Button calls, Hero calls, BB checks.

Flop: 6♥ 7♠ 4♥ ($1, 4 players)
Hero bets $0.5, 2 folds, Button calls.

Hero bets $1.25, Button calls.

River: 3♥ ($4.5, 2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $5.25, Hero calls.

Bets were too small I think ... near potsize on the flop and turn, right?
River completes nearly every draw, so can I fold here after the big bet?

they were too small, there are many draws with that board and there was a strong chance he made his straight (any 5) or a flush on the river, i think check/fold the river maybe would be the best play

Yes, bet more on the flop and turn. River: good spot for a block/value-bet against passive opponents. Against aggressive opponents, I like c/f.

ok, thanks, I'll file it under "bad play"
