Just following on from what Gunshot933 was asking about laptops/pcs. I was wondering what type of firewall and anti virus systems seem to be the best?

I have had a few problems in the past with keylogger and fraud detection. Some tosser trying to gain access to my accounts which quite frankly made me change all my passwords and i withdrew most of my funds as a precaution. I have had this happen a couple of times and for obvious reasons it sucks.

Guess ive been lucky that i have caught on to it in time.

Also since the last time it happened my laptop seems to have lost some of its speed, anyone have any ideas how get it back to normal?

Has anybody else suffered from this? If so i hope it wasnt to bad?

I'm no computer specialist, but I think I may be able to give good advice - I've had this s*it happen to me too. Two times. Say hello to a di*khead in Germany that broke into my FTP account, everybody! *encourages waving*

I use Microsoft Security Essentials and AdAware. I scan my computer almost everyday. It's all good, nothing slowing it down and no suspicious things going on. Both programmes find a virus roughly every three days or so. AdAware deletes loads of small threats plus advertising and privacy thingies, too, so it's useful.

EDIT: Plus, set up advanced login procedures on all your poker sites - PINs or others;
