well, with 12bb, I do push Ak, because otherwise I may only see the flop, be committed on the cont. bet, and have to push any flop. Maybe with AA and 12bb a raise is better, the rest KK and <KK I push pre. I use 13bb. It's not about a static point in the stack/blind ratio were you push, it's whether you are committed on the flop or not, after making a continuation bet. And in this case, your cont. bet kinda committed you :p. I would probably still bet 2/3 pot on this flop, btw, and call a push (because were committed).
Sometimes I push 18bb into 50/100 blinds + 2 limpers. Otherwise I bet 500, then the pot with 1 call is 1250, so my cont. bet of 800 commits me, hence I push. The push is +ev/+ev$, so nothing wrong with pushing 18bb there.
