Hi everyone!

I just played against this guy at PokerStars NL2. I noticed that he was multi-tabling.

I hided his picture to respect his privacy.

As you can see, he already have silver status. How is this possible!? It's only the 5th of the month!! Is it mathematically possible to achieve Silver Status playing only NL2!?

Damn, I want silver status too...

He got his silverstar status last month probably and it lasts until the end of this month. For example if you earn your silverstar status this month then it will last until the end of august, and if you dont make enough points in august then 1st of september your again Bronzestar.

I think that's quite normal... I'm not sure. Because I just started playing NL2 in PS on 29 June 2011 and I earned around 380 vpp until now. I probably get silver status in 1.5 weeks later.

I saw someone got gold status in NL2. :)

Lol :)

In case you haven't noticed, it's very easy to achieve silver in PokerStrategy, it is a little harder achieving the same at PokerStars. And also, someone that has a life (unlike premium members), can be quite baffled with this...

Yeah, that makes sense UXMALAGA, I thought that he earned those 750vpp in 5 days...

I guess this might be a little off topic - but why would you want to show your current star/status for everyone at the table to see?

Cause you either are proud of that or you just don't care(cause it doesn't really matter) and leave it on as a default option :)

well those beginer usually scared to play hand vs higher status in low limit.
When i was silver i shown my stars, n play 10cent table, when i raise not many willing to call. When i hide my status, when i raise, almost everybody call. You see the different?

I saw this 1 gold member at stars playing $0.10 tournamnt, search on him n he play other higher limit table at the same time. One things i really noticed was, he played the 10cents table like any other table. Tight. Everytime he raised, he did have a good hand.

I think there's something to be said for motivation and performance when you start treating the amounts like 10bb as opposed to 20cents.
