How to make profit with low fix limit, almost people always play to river, they often wait and want to see last card ( fifth card ) ???
And When I have top pair, or 2 pair and bet, but they still play and win at last card, how to play with them ???
Hi!
I'm pretty new in FL but if you're interested in my opinion I can give you one.
These players who you talk about, who catch their last card and win, are very common at microstakes. They are our "customers". Imagine you have top pair with top kicker and value bet all the three streets. They may be lucky one time, two times, multiple times. But see what? If the probability to win for them is 10% it means you win 90 of 100 cases. Your profit much outweights your losses against such opponents. Calling stations are always welcome at poker tables. And your short-term results should never ever influence your mood and behaviour at the tables. Just know you're doing everything right. You may lose some money after 1k hands, but after 10k hands you should find a solid profit in your cashier.
Play for some distance and don't think about bad beats in single hands, think globally
After 10k hands your edge should play its role!
P.S. Microstakes are usually treated as not a way for profit but a way to build up your bankroll and move to higher limits. So keep on going!
actually the way you described your opponents is the way you make money by playing. people very too often chase on their outs and hope to make a lucky hit by the river but they don't do that often enough to justify calling and calling, over and over. longterm you make profit and they will loose although i can understand that you might be pissed as even those players have a lucky streak sometimes and keep sucking out on you but it'll stop by the time and it goes vice versa. keep up your hope and don't discourage yourself from just a few hands you've certainly just played yet.
Thanks your idea !! Actually The Poker is a difficult game !! I have played 3 months ago, but I cant make profit. I played at FL 0.05/0.10 and my bankroll is just around 30$-60$, up and down.... again ... again...
I played carefully but I cant build up my bankroll to 100$.
Its not about being carefull, its about playing best!(concept which is often mixed since most often agro moves are better than passive or nitty ones!) and Im very very sure there is still soooo much you can work on your game. More you analyse it better you get and sonner or later your winrate will become +
I realized that in MICROStake FL 0.02/0.04 , FL0.05/0.10 bluffing is so hard,
When I see on the flop with 2 cards same suit, and I bet but to the opponents often call. And the pot odd always greater 4:1
So I they can not catch FLUSH, they are still profit with that call !!!!
example: FL0.05/0.10
I usually raise 10 cents !! if there are 2 opponents, pot will be 20cents and when FLOP come. the next bet is only 5 cents:
at this time : POT is 25 cents, good pot odd for opponents !!!
Can I use BLUFFING in microstake!!
Well thats basically the basical principle of microstakes... dont bluff!
Play good ABC game and learn how to valuebet these bad players max possible. Still that does not mean you cannot semibluff... good draws need very very little fold equity and I guess even big calling station doesnt call down Jhigh very often.
About people calling your bets and correctly drawing... yes that is true. They are making correct calls with FDs or SDs but you still get value from them. FD has about 33% chance to improve on turn or river so you are still end up winner most of the time... therefore any bet you put in pot and oponent calls you get 66% of that and he get 33%.
But its not just these good draws, people will call you with even more marginal draws(like gutshots, overcards or even just Ahigh) way too often and you just have to pound them hard and make them pay with these hands where they have terrible equity.
