Trying my luck at turbo SnG`s. Unsuccesfull so far :P.

If I raise potsize here, and I`m called, I will be pot commited at turn. So its push or fold situation. With so many opponenst should I have expected someone had a set?

I would fold. 99 is ssuch a marginal hand as an overpair in a raised pot, and I don't want to get in marginal situations early in the s&g. I play for setvalue preflop.

So, early 99 = 22?

no, lp i raise 99, and with blinds 25/50 i openraise them from any position. With initiative or totally oop you can buy the pot on the flop, but I wouldn't shove this.

I call this and reevaluate on the turn, a shove is too expensive, and a reraise would commit you.
