Pre Flop: (t45) Hero is BTN with A♦ K♠
3 folds, MP1 raises to t90, 2 folds, Hero calls t90, 1 fold, BB calls t60

Flop: (t285) 9♥ 2♣ Q♣ (3 players)
BB bets t285.00, MP1 folds, Hero folds

MP1 was unknown, playing more than one table.
Considering his middle position, should I 3bet this and flat it if it comes from earlier positions? Thanks.

I tend to flat vs known regs and 3b vs unknowns. Dunno if it's good tbh but I feel it's easier to play postflop then.

Btw, by his betting size I think he almost always has some pair 77-JJ. Is it possible to still somehow profitably win the hand?

both are fine. 3bet/go broke pre is quite marginal against a lot of opponents in STTs because they wont 4bet as loose as in other tournaments. which is why i am a strong advocate of flatting as a standard.

i think 3betting against an EP raiser is suicidal
