Is it generally better to go for a c/r on a flop when you've called a raise OOP or is a donkbet a valid option?

For instance if you can't imagine villain's hit the flop, making a donkbet would be cheaper if he only raises with a strong hand, while if he reraises you when you've check/raised you've invested quite a bit more.

So what are the merits of the donkbet generally speaking?

With the donkbet you dont have to spend as much to get some semi valid information (ie villian can still raise your donkbet with air whilst reraising your c/r generally requires a real hand).

I would generally just mix it up so people can't read you as easily.

Hi snowylee!

I agree with sw0ldo. Just mix up your play to become unreadable.

Good luck at the tables!
