No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (2 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($36.33)
Hero (BB) ($119.28)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 5, A
SB bets $0.75, Hero raises $3, SB calls $2.50

Flop: ($7) 8, 9, 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, SB bets $4, Hero calls $4

Curious what would be the best line given his stack size on the flop. Bet, float (depending on turn) or c/r get it in? Villain is unknown except that he's probably not that good since he limp stab'd 4-5 small pots before.

I think x/c is the worst option:)

We can cbet and then barrel high card at turn, or x/r get it in with nice equity, but if u x/c, what will u do on most turns when u dont hit?

Hello Torg0th,

With Check/Call you will never find out where you stand with your hand. Rather CBet it than Check/Call. With it you at least gain fold equity and maybe even can 2nd barrel a good card on turn and of course if a flush comes. :)

Best regards.
