Let me start by saying thank you to all the coaches, articles, video's and players in this forum. My strategy before watching video's reading articles, and particpating in the forums was to shove any two first in with less than 10bb. Several members, video's and articles correctly said why that was not always the best solution, sometimes your better off waiting for the blinds. The hands below are not a one time thing (although this situation is a one time for me. breaking my previous comback

Here's where I was

he gp,

I am sorry that your issues were not been adressed. Main reason is because we have this hand evaluation forum - I moved your post here! Our dedicated hand judges will care about your trouble-hands and give you precious advice.

Also, I like your approach of analyzing your own game, thumbs up for that!

Hi all,

Hands 1 and 3 of course are played perfectly.

Hand 2 is important to analyse. First off it's a limped pot and we have top 2 pair which is clearly a value hand. Leading is the best option which you did. However we want to build the pot, not try to "trap" our opponents. So I would lead for full pot here or maybe 70 chips at the minimum. Facing the raise we still need to funnel more chips into this very small pot so I would reraise here. To something like 200-220. On the turn make it 140 and when he raises you should be getting it in.

On the river shoving over his 300 bet is best. Sure none of this would've let you get away from your top 2 vs bottom set cooler, but it would've let you get more value from villain's wide range of much worse made hands
