Not a mistake to go broke here against this unknown halfstack but is calling a better option : ?

Hello hohoho321,

Unfortunately I don't like to go broke there right on flop unless I expect to get some fold equity and him being really aggressive or even capable of semi-bluffing there as well.

If we are against a strong hand:

Board: 4♦2♥9♦
       Equity     Win     Tie
UTG    32.91%  32.91%   0.00% { Ad3d }
UTG+1  67.09%  67.09%   0.00% { 99, 44, 22 }

Then our overall equity ain't that good an we rather should give up the hand. So at the best maybe just Call and reevaluate it on turn.

Best regards.
