Have been following few blogs for a while and decided that it's time for me to start one. First attempt wasn't that great, lost motivation to write about NL2 "adventures". I hope this time I'll have more success. This blog will be filled with my thoughts mainly about poker, but there will be few posts related with RL stuff. Main reason for (re)starting blog - track my progress, develop thinking process(you never know what you can think of while reading other blogs).
ABOUT ME
I'm 19,9 yo boy from Lithuania. Studying electronics engineering in Vilnius. Well, I like exact sciences, find poker being helpful for sharpening my mind and for mental calculations. Hope to get nice income from poker in the long run.
Had first contact with poker couple of months before I joined this amazing community. Play money games on PokerStars(that's why I'm not tracked there) and Zynga poker. Then find out pokerstrategy.com, recieved my starting capital and the game begun :). Burned those 50$, rebuilded my BR from freerolls, moved up to NL5, had a tilting downswing so cashed out some $$$ and splited my BR, moved up to NL5 on both sites, than reached NL10(tried sh tables here), builded BR to 300$+ and also had 100$+ on PokerStars. However, have to play NL5 again. Well, it's because:
Had those those 300$ there. Would take shots at NL25 now. Maybe someday will get that Bonus back. Thanks to pokerstrategy.com I got 100$ on William Hill (first aid package
). So current limits:
NL5 SH on PokerStars
a mix of NL5/NL10 SH on William Hill(mostly NL10, yea it's against BRM, but field there looks pretty soft)
Spoiler
miss variance go away
However I'm not really happy with my volume and my view at poker. Almost not studying poker, all knowledge came by practice. I feel I could achieve more if I work harder. ![]()
Play 30k hands at least each month
Dedicate more time for studying poker(hand discussions, articles, videos, other stuff that looks useful)
Session reviews!(had to make a separate point, because I find it very important, but I do it rarely
)
Post my thoughts here
