Hello everyone.
Basically, I live in Leicester, which is located in the East Midlands. I'm 18 and I'm planning on occasionally turning up to my local casino, which is Gala Casino, to play some no limit hold em. So, I'm wondering whether anybody has ever been or currently attends there from time to time and also whether there are any other relatively close poker locations.

I often visit Aspers Casino in Northampton, as i live in between leicster and Northampton.
I have been to the gala in Leicster a few times but find thier rebuy only tournaments a bit lacking.
Aspers is always a good choice 
hi mate i've played in a tournament there before it's a pretty cool place. didn't do very well cos im pretty fishy 
there's also rileys i think they have poker games.

I don't drive, which is always a problem. I might start my lessons fairly soon though. I haven't heard of Aspers before but I'll be sure to look it up. What's the poker like there (cash and tournaments)? Also, what do you mean by lacking?

However, a friend who often goes there says it is frustrating because of how bad some people are. They make silly all in moves without reason and get lucky a lot.
yea there was a lot of that when i was there. my mate goes there every now and then and he couldn't believe some of the plays people were making
I go to Grosvenor casino in huddersfield, not sure how close that is to leicster tho. Also any1 know what casino Red's are like, layout style etc..
dusk till dawn in nottingham is really good. daily £15 tournaments and 0.5/£1 cash
