Greetings from Sunny Scotland.... well, from Scotland, at least.
I joined this site several years ago, when I was 17. I took the starting capital, and grew it ever so slightly. Then due to a combination of reasons I gave up playing online poker. Not necessarily due to bad play by me but I started other projects which consumed my time.
But, I'm back baby!
I've been playing under the pokerstrategy guide using my own capital in the past few weeks. I started with £5... but due to a combination of good fortune, good play and fishy friends, it's now at £18. Not much, but exponential growth has a slight incline at first. I'm playing $0.02-0.05 NL Hold'em. But also play $0.02-0.04 FL occassionally to hone post-flop play.
I believe in Evolution. Anything for a more powerful pokemon.
Now to the good stuff.
My goals
1) Be Silver status by the start of next month [X]
2) To cut-out as many mistakes as possible [ ]
3) Learn, learn, learn and learn some more
4) Enhance my discipline (I have played some "bored" hands) [X]
5) Record EVERY session and analyse hands [X]
6) Have my bankroll reach $50 and move up a level ($0.05/0.10) [X]
7) Study MTT in preparation for a new depositor's free competition on 21/8 [X] (22/8 edit... I came 3rd in that tourney for a cool $100)
And finally 8) (Long term) Earn above min wage from playing poker
I started this blog as tomorrow is my new dawn in poker. The mistakes of the past are forgotten, the lessons learned. And I'll be recording each session on a certain poker charting website for your arousal.
I'll be in touch.
Keep smiling!
