Hey everybody!

I'm 27 and I'm from Spain. 7 or 8 years ago I tried to play poker and I used to play Fixed Limit. I managed to double from 20 euro to 40 euro playing in a minor sport bets site and then I moved to Pokerstars. Once there, I didn't manage to earn any money (but at least I didn't lose any either!) and finally I ended up getting bored and left it.

Now I'm trying to come back. This time I'll play No Limit. I've been reading some stuff here at pokerstrategy.com, I passed the test and now I'm waiting for the money.

What strategy do you think I should use in the beginning? Short stack or mid stack? I kind of feel like playing mid stack, but I'd like to hear from you.

Hey Elertar,

This is personal preference i would seriously advise you play whatever you enjoy the most no point playing a game that you wish you weren't you need a lot of enthusiasm to make sure you stick to improving as much you can.

I don't play a lot of cash games but if i did i would be aiming to learn to play with a full stack as soon as i could if you hit a monster hand i'd rather win 100bbs than 40bbs right?? But this is just personal preference.

Have you taken the quiz for the $50 starting capital or are you thinking of depositing yourself?

I see the point. I'll start with medium stack then and if everything goes right I'll try to move to full stack.
