Obviously I have to protect against the flushdraw and so my aim is to get as much as possible into the pot as soon as possible.
What's the best way to do it?

Known players:
[tg]Position_Stack:hands/vp$ip/RaisePreflop/AF/WTS/ORL/BBvsSteal/W$SD;SB$2,02:41/51/5/1.0/26/13/100/60;Hero$2,81:///////;MP2$2,02:20/35/0/4.0/22/0/-/50;CO$0,37:07/86/29/4.0/50/-/-/50;[/tg]
0,01/0,02 No-Limit Hold'em (6 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy.com Elephant 0.102 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is BB with J♥, 8♣
MP2 calls $0,02, MP3 folds, CO calls $0,02, BU folds, SB calls $0,01, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0,08) T♥, 9♠, 7♠ (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0,07, MP2 calls $0,07, CO raises to $0,35 (All-In), SB folds, Hero raises to $0,63, MP2 raises to $2,00 (All-In), Hero raises to $2,79 (All-In), Hero gets uncalled bet back (All-In).
minraise just for the sake of more protection, wonder how good it is though
am I just scaring away most of his range?

Turn: ($4,43) 4♦
River: ($4,43) 4♠ (3 players)

Final Pot: $4,43

Results follow (highlight to see):
MP2 shows (9h 7c)
CO shows a flush, nine high (8s 2s)
Hero shows a straight, jack high (Jh 8c)

CO wins with a flush, nine high (8s 2s)

Hello Tomaloc,

Your 3bet size is a bit too smallish. I'd definitely bet it bigger. But of course we are getting it in.

Best regards.
