[Closed] Blind vs blind, bluff-raise on flop, fold river

When you raise on flop, you need to success 55% of time. Does he cbet that often enough with air? Can he fold AKxx?

Basicly you are representing AA or trip 7's. He should fold a lot. So yeah, I think that is a good spot to raise. Someone might just call flop and then bet the turn if opponent checks.

When I am in BB against SB, I 3bet a ton. It makes the life of SB very difficult. Think it about his point of view. Whatever he has in hand, it's difficult to play oop. You have nice hand to do it too, double suited and no pairs. If opponent chooses to 4bet (mainly AA/KK) you have good equity and position to call it and see the flop.

Plus when you 3bet the **** out of that SB, your imago comes loose. Which is a good thing. Of course if the opponent is loose and aggressive, don't 3bet with mediocore/trashy hands. But if he is normal/tight player, use your position.

First of all, you can't really rep AA because you didn't 3 bet preflop.

Raising this flop is bad, but that doesn't mean you should automatically fold instead.

Consider calling. If villain has a hand like AK or 7xxx that he isn't going to fold, then he will likely bet again on the turn (by calling the flop rather than raising the flop, we save 80 cents against players who actually have strong ace or a 7).

If SB has a hand like KQQT, he will give up once called on the flop, and you can just bet him off the hand once he checks the turn. Very few players will double barrel out of position here with these hands that otherwise beat you.

You might get something as strong as AQxx to fold to a turn and river bet, however I expect villain to bet again on the turn with all his 7xxx hands, so by calling the flop we can make a move on a blank turn and save money when villain does have a 7.

Obviously if an ace hits the turn, you should probably give up at this point. You can't rep a 7 now (since a player with a 7 must be expecting his opponent to be calling the flop with at the very least an ace, therefore checking behind is the best play with a 7 on the turn.
