i apologize to my income :) because i have never asked this question, and by now should clearly know that.

Can u explain me the major difference between openraise and call after; and openlimp and raise.

I am asking cause i am interested if we are third player and holding pairs 22-88. Can we call in both cases?

Hi!

In practice its basically the same thing. In both cases we have a bad player involved whos ranges are about the same in both cases.According to articles we can coldcall 55+ and 44+ from SB. Sure if we decide to 3bet this rule doesnt count. Also if there are additional bad players behind us we may want to play any pocket.

Maybe important difference is about raisers range. If he is thinking player then he is isolating a limper with slightly larger range then he is OR with. With this in mind we should be inclined to 3bet him lighter as it will accomplish more than a overcall in many cases...may get limper to fold and create dead money which is always great ; or it at least takes initiative which in bigger pot is always good.
