i thought if he float he would bet on the turn, so on the river with this betsize he valuebet an A most of the time, so i folded. (river af:0,33, afq:20%)
is it ok, or should i call?

If there are a lot of draws on the flop and if he does bet sometimes on the river, you can consider calling, but with this dry board, check/fold turn and river is perfectly fine.

If you think he's taking it down too often with the worse hand and would bet weaker pairs, you're probably better off bet/folding the turn and check/folding the river than calling a river bet. I would say it's more likely for him to call another bet with worse pockets than it is for him to bet them on the river.


Just going to wonder what would I do 66 that spot and since likely I would either bluffraise or fold then I think taking one stab and then c/f turn adn river seems reasonable unless player fold to c-bet in 3-bet pot is really small. Then he would likely float you and you should call his river bet, since he can always bet there smt like 66 or KQ
