Depending on the type of HUs play you want to study I can try and guide you to some articles,
Do you mean SNG heads - up ?
Or cash game heads up ?
And I am pretty sure you can't "play perfectly" any kind of poker...You can always adapt and modify your game!

As far as I know there's not too many articles for HUs SNGs. Basically it is really opponent dependant. Once the blinds get big, you can always use Nash for the push or fold but this is a little bit more complex and to read requires at least gold.
Remember that HU SNG have the highest variance and sometime 100 BI is required!
