You are correct about preflop. Personally I wouldn't even call the preflop raise with KQ77 let alone reraise with it. You have 2 flush draws that can be dominated and a pair of sevens that often will end up dominated set over set or similar.

The flop comes and there is only 1 card in the deck you want to see, and it's the A . Any other card gives you a tough decisions because A: you are out of position and B: you wont have the nuts.

Ultimately this is why you have to fold preflop, because it's hard to get paid off when you have the nuts and it's even harder to make the correct decision when you don't, more so that you are 180 bets deep against what looks like a good player.

It should be worth pointing out that villain probably folds to 3 bets by players who aren't you, because they are super tight and shallow. However against you it's a mandatory call of a 3 bet since you will be playing out of position against him whilst 180 bets deep.

This whole scenario could have been avoided with a preflop fold, your hand looks nicer than it actually is. If one of your 7's was a Jack then I would play it.

100bb deep your hand is quite good, especially in position cause king and queen high flushdraws play amazingly well in 3bet pots. however in this case you're 180bb deep and you're oop with a low pair in your hand. don't worry too much about small edges gained from preflop fold % (from his direct fold to 3bet you don't make a profit from your move anyway) and instead concentrate on reverse implied odds.
