Not that I want Ps to shutdown but if they both got busted by the fbi how come one is shut down and the other isn't..can we possibly see ps shut down to??

ft lost their regulatory license (or suspended?). stars did not. google for more info.

It was, as <3 already mentioned, the non-payment of fees to the gaming commission that got their license suspended. I think it has nothing (well, 'nothing') to do with Black Friday afaik. FTP also violated several rules of that commission such as placing the deposits of the players in a separate bank account. FTP didn't and now has huge troubles paying out its players, also because it lended out a couple of million to their players. Money they didn't receive back. That is why they are negotiating with several investors to get the platform back up and running.
