Perhaps he was a conservative who says only a king and a queen can form a pair and all the other same-sex pairs are blasphemy ?

Its a so called "bluff call" and is obviously for deception/confusion. Combined with runner-runner two pair / trip outs it is nearly profitable move Never underestimate the all-in call with 3 high </Sarcasm>

And he was just unlucky that his runner runner hearts draw was blocked by a higher heart.

Probably just a guy who needed to leave

i was thinking that maybe he was playing texas hold'em hi/lo.. in which case he's still on a runner-runner draw

he's taking implied tilt odds a bit far i think.

He just wanted a bluff and in the end about had the odds for the final 50 $ call in a 250 $ pot.
Same with my hand where I bluff-raised the flop and couldn't fold to his push as it gave me odds.

Aah yes, the famous bluff-6-bet

It's still not as bad as the slowplay minbetting sequence I saw a few back that kinda resulted in a 20-bet or something before they went all in (AA v AA of course)
