just thinking about playing live when i get back up to uni, cash games and playing MSS at the local casino and the minimum stake they have is £100NL with £1/£1 blinds.... im not sure whether i should do it because surely that isnt very profitable? or does it not matter....

Really? You think paying an extra 1/2 a big blind makes it unprofitable? 
Just open raise 4bb instead of 3bb as a standard. Players live are terrible at that limit anyway. Btw Grosvenors Victoria by any chance?

Tbh I wudnt play unless you can sit with 100+. And also to who said raise to 4bb lol - you should be opening like 6-8£ live on nearly all tables.

Since everyone does that it's neither win nor lose situation, obv you are giving up some edge by not having an option to fold in SB but since everyone has no such option noone is gaining an edge over you and so playing well will more than compensate for it imo.
open like 7-15x in live games....in live games in casino...if someone wants to call...he will call...dosnt matter if you open 4x or 25x...

Play SSS/MSS live is hmmmm boring to say the least. You can only single table and you don't have the same number of hand/hour as online.

what i was planning on doing is go a few times and just play MSS and once i double up i'll play BSS... but yea i understand its gunna be a bore. im prepared to sit around but i guess if i do that no one will play when i enter a pot. we'll see, im not too great at BSS so i'll have to wait til im done with the school lol

yeah... that definitely seems a little bit extreme.. i understand that they will call etc but if you open that big with a decent hand you just dont Cbet? and if you do its gunna be huge...
