On the turn you have top set and a nut flush draw.

So let's look at the worst case scenario for you here:

board: 7S 6H AD 5h
Hand Equity Wins Ties
AC AH 9H 4C 42.06% 153,716
8 9 ** 57.94% 211,724

Wow, that's pretty good huh! You have 42% equity vs the nuts on the turn. So with the money already in the pot, it's okay to get it in here even if you're beaten.

Now consider how bad it would be if you're ahead on this turn and don't bet. When you could be as high as 92% to win vs a gutshot straight.

With such a big draw on the turn (if you're behind) and such a big made hand that you could be ahead with, you absolutely have to bet/shove this turn. The only time you wouldn't is if you're super deep and you get checkraised. In this spot you call the checkraise and fold if you don't improve since you know you're beat.

But if you bet $300 on this turn and get checkraised to $1200 i'm happy shoving with such a big hand.
