MP2: $2.23
CO: $1.95
BTN: $5.99
SB: $1.98
BB: $1.20
Hero (UTG): $2.71
UTG+1: $2.00
MP1: $2.16

Pre Flop: ($0.03) Hero is UTG with 9♥ 9♣
Hero calls $0.02, 2 folds, MP2 raises to $0.10, 3 folds, BB calls $0.08, Hero calls $0.08

Flop: ($0.31) 8♠ J♣ 6♦ (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.23, MP2 folds, BB raises to $1.10, Hero folds

In the BSS guide, it is recommended to donk bet (bet/fold) a medium made hand without position, if I recall correctly. That's what I did in this hand, but had to fold after the check raise of the villain.

Is this play correct? Thank you.

Hello Elertar,

Most likely I would have played the same way, with Check/Call you wont find out where you stand, Check/Raise in multiway pot we might just put ourselves into trouble and Check/Folding is anyways a bit too weak while there might even be worse pairs/draws. Also as we Bet it I don't see how we can continue either, we most likely are beaten. Nice hand!

Best regards.
