Do you call because it's way ahead/way behind? Or raise for protection against draws and maybe for value against AJ? If we raise and he 3bets is it a fold?

i think you should raise. you have an overpair and his donkbet could well be AJ. i would raise here and re evaluate the turn. his raise could also easily be a draw so i think you need to protect. not sure about the raise/fold line - he could easily push with a draw, but then again he will push with a straight as well... so im not sure about that

Hello jdnismo,

No point to raise there, you are just isolating yourself against strong hands. Rather just Call and reevaluate it on further streets.
