Early in the Saturday 30K.

MP: 53/6/1
BU: 20/8/2

What line do you think is better:

1. Second barrel turn and 3ple barrel any good river >T; or blank;

a) Imo, he has mid-pair most of the time in that spot
b) this kind of flop smashes part of my presumed PFR range (he was on my table for a long time so I suppose he has noticed that)

2. Check back turn and bluff good rivers

I went for the second one, since I don't think he is folding much on turn, and he will have less than pot size behind or the river.

Uh, I had a hand similar to this yday.

Personally I like to bet turn like 3kish and shove like any river apart from ones which pair board or a 4. Just because then he can't like bluff you cos when you check back turn he might turn his hand into bluff on river. Plus you're also getting "value" for your bluff.

So yeah the 1st line :f_biggrin:

Hey Amplifyd,

Thanks for the feedback.

I guess, I think of his him as station back then to check back the turn. When the beautiful A on the river appears it's an easy bluff.

Looking back at it I like more that first one as well. Especially, when he knows (or should know since we were on the same table for an hour and he played one tourney only) that I raise 56s; 67s; 78s; 89s in that spot as well and this board nails this range. Plus I Cbet into two opponents so presumably I do not have air :f_p:

i like how you played it. nothing to conclude about his range when he check/calls this flop so i don't like 3barreling very much. i mean what if he has 98s or a set or 76s type twopair? do you think he will tell you this by check/raising turn? if not then 3barrelling is very very dangerous

cmon at this level people are raising 2pair+ (maybe excluding the nuts) on the flop so imo his range is full of just weak stuff

you gotta 3barrel though which is really expensive and then you're praying for good cards to fall that they are sufficiently scared of. if someone had 87 here they may not fold on blanks...
