I get this kind of hand quite frequently. Should i call and c/f flop if i dont hit a set, or is the equity wrong for this?

You can easily Call it preflop. And should be also pretty easy to play postflop if we don't hit then just Check/Fold it.

12 cents to win $1.80 - Call15, which is a good rule to use in 3bet pots if the 3bet is considered a genuine value 3bet from a reasonably tight player that you can reliably put on AKo+, JJ/QQ+.
If the 3bet is probably a re-steal and you wont continue without a set and you don't want to 4bet light to re-re-steal, you should fold. Even if you hit a 7 your opponent wont have a hand often enough to make it a profitable set mine.
It would really depend on what the villain's 3bet from BB% is. If it is much above 5 I would probably lean to a fold, and once it gets out to 15 I would 4bet.
