Dealt to Hero T♠ A♥

fold, fold, fold, BTN raises to $0.80, fold, Hero calls $0.60

FLOP ($1.70) 7♥ K♦ T♦

Hero bets $1, BTN calls $1

TURN ($3.70) 7♥ K♦ T♦ 8♣

Hero checks, BTN checks

RIVER ($3.70) 7♥ K♦ T♦ 8♣ 8♥

Hero bets $1.20, BTN raises to $4.20, Hero folds

BTN wins $5.80

unknown player

On turn I don't want a big pot against unknown with marginal hand so I check,

On river I blockbet, I think I can get value from 7x, Tx and if I check I can be bluffed.

Hello SPeedFANat1c,

Don't like that much the donking on flop. Why don't you just let him CBet with his whole range? We can't really assume that he will even Check behind on turn.

And as played rather just Check it on river and be happy if you even win the pot. You ain't gonna make better hands to fold or either there ain't much value on river for you.

Best regards.

Becaese they know somehow that I have made hand and don't Cbet

and one more reason - if I miss the flop, I often bluff using donkbet. But balancing is not needed here, probably thats why you suggest checking.

Doubt that it's needed on those limits.
