Recently i have read a couple of threads that read along the same lines as this one:
How to unlock the Starting Capital?
I'm new to poker so i don't really understand what is being discussed.
What does 'unlocking capital' or 'clearing capital' actually mean? Does it mean that if i don't make 100 party poker points, i lose my $50? ♠ And why do i have only 70 days to do this?
Apologies if this is a stupid question.

Okay Urielz,
When you look at your balance you will see that you have $x amount in your cashier and $49 in a restricted bonus.
You can play with the $49 restricted for 90 days. However, after 90 days if you have not collected 100 Party points this $49 amount will be removed from your account.
This is one of the terms to receiving your free $50 capital.
For reference:
100 Party Points = $50 rake
So it is very possible to clear the restricted amount and keep it for yourself

Currently it says $5.30 available... 45.90 restricted. Does this mean if my 90 days ran out NOW, i would keep $5.30?
Furthermore, if i play more, will more become 'available'? Or is it, 'Grind 100 points or you get nothing' ?
The packing isn't going well Roo... I've got a few days, i'll do it tomorrow... or the day after

Hey Urielz,
That's right, you have to play through the bonus and after 90 days, if you haven't earned 100 PartyPoints, you'll be able to keep whatever is left and withdraw any winnings which you have.
