haha, ps.com are failing so bad when it comes to coaches

Hi Guys,

We'll look into all the allegations asap.

Obviously we won't tolerate any kind of misconduct from our freelancers, but there is a presumption of innocence here as well.

Let's not start a witch hunt and keep the tone civil please.

Best,

Marc

The person accused in the other thread was not a coach, but a moderator (not that it matters too much), and my colleagues in the Russian Community already dealt with that case by terminating the contract of the freelancer in question.

WOW... if this turns out to be true then its really pathetic and insulting.

Even though I really like this site and PokerStrategy has been a huge part of my game development in recent months, I think this actually would create a lasting impression.

As a fixed limit player I'm especially interested in quality content from solid wining players and reputable pros... and I hope they really learn from these recent examples as to develop some more stringent qualifications. After all, we count on you guys to do that part of the leg work for us.

Anyways, I think we all understand that these things will happen, and I'm sure PokerStrategy will be much more frustrated then the lot of us if this turns out to be true.

Its tragically stupid when people are willing to sacrifice an entire career for a quick buck.

From reading more of the post, it seems that Korn (he's PS CEO correct?) actually helped these guys out with the investigation. If so, I'm glad to hear it.

Dont take this the wrong way because i have alot of respect for this site, but does this site have specifications of how to become a coach other than just being a winning player?

May already be thorough regulations i dont know, but if not then this may help the authenticity of the coaches and reliability.

Just to let you know guys, our investigations are ongoing and continuing and we'll have an update on this issue shortly.

Please know that we take this kind of issue very seriously and will not tolerate misconduct in the manner alleged.

his name is doosch, what did you expect? :f_biggrin:

I've played a bit 3 and 4handed with Dooshcom and benkaremail. Can't really say I noticed anything strange but it has still been bugging me that people do this. I could have lost a lot more because I don't see either of them as a very good player but it's just that I'm not very good 3 of 4handed either, and who knows how much it has happened in the past.

I have known that he did a few more angleshooty/bad etiquette things but I didn't worry too much about it. This is definitely a whole different level though and I hope he gets what he deserves and that everybody gets his/her money back.

just soft selection of coaches.its better to have 3 and be honest rather than 50 and be dishonest

I would like to remind everyone that at this point these are accusations, and it is being investigated by 888, so let's not get too ahead of ourselves and flame DooshCom just yet please?

The best course of action here is just to wait for the results of their investigation to come in and if found guilty, then you can flame ahead. :)

Regards,
Richard
