not verses an unknown I think it is too thin.

It's sort of close if we assume that AK would have raise pre or at least on the flop, and the 2 pair (A3, A4, A5) would have raised as well as A2 for the straight on the turn.

These assumptions leave us ahead of A6-A8 (24 combos) and behind to AQ-AT (22 combos).

Strictly this would indicate a very thin value bet but I think there is a possibility that he would check call the two pair hands some of the time especially given the straight becomes possible on the turn. This would add some combo's to the hands that beat us leading me to just check behind and expect to be good reasonably often at showdown.


Problem is that SB would call more often AJ/AQ type hands, rather than A6-A9s hands. I would also check back and take my free showdown.
With AJ I'd bet 3$ and AQ+ 7$
