No real other way to play this to get value?

6 folds, SB calls $0.01, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.04) 6♣, 5♣, 2♦ (2 players)
SB bets $0.02, Hero raises to $0.07, SB calls $0.05.

Turn: ($0.18) 8♠ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.14, SB calls $0.14.

River: ($0.46) 8♥ (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.25, SB folds, Hero gets uncalled bet back.

Final Pot: $0.46

Unfortunately nope. I would play the same way. Might even make it bigger raise on flop & bigger bet on turn. :) He is a station, will Call anyways if he has a hand. What's your plan if he decides to raise the river?

Pretty nasty spot, if he raises.

However, the question is whether he would have raised me previously if he had hit a set, against most opponents I expect them to raise, so it becomes pretty unlikely. Added to that he didn't even bother raising pre-flop, just doesn't make too much sense.

The only two cards I'm scared of & makes sense would be 86.

If I was to fold it would only be to a very passive opponent think.

Folding would be most likely the correct line. :) Doubt that he would raise there with a lot worse.
