Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.02(BB) Replayer
SB ($1.92)
Hero ($4.79)
UTG ($1.61)
UTG+1 ($1.83)
UTG+2 ($1)
MP1 ($2.91)
CO ($1.13)
BTN ($2)

Dealt to Hero J♥ J♣

fold, fold, fold, fold, CO calls $0.02, fold, SB raises to $0.16, , Hero ???

No stats. What to do here against such a big raise? We don't have the odds to call 20, 3betting will put a lot of money in the pot... Folding looks the most appealing to me.

Hi Elertar

Totally agree with you, with no other info on villian and not getting call20 on your pair I would say definitely its a fold here.

Hello Elertar,

Well, obviously we could consider Calling here for getting like 14:1 odds, although the question is if it's worth? You way too often gonna make mistake postflop when having overpair and for that given reason and against his raise size without information rather fold and avoid any further mistakes.

Best regards.

Hi Veriz not sure I understand where you got the 14/1 odds for the call.

I see bets so far as sb 1 bb 2 co 2 sb 16 Total21

We need to call 14 into a pot of 21 giving us odds of 3/2

Is this correct or am I missing something.

Cheers

In pot there is already = $0,2
Opp. Stack = $1,92
We have to Call = $0,14
Villain effective stack = $1,76

(Pot + Eff. stack)/To_Call = 14:1 :)
