Generaly I don't how to play these kind of hands.

I don't know what is better pre flop, 3bet or flat? 3bet seems to be a bluff, and with 99 maybe I could get more value post.

Flop, the best is just to call/

Turn is hard, Q is a perfect card to barrel, but I don't have any particular reads on him, and I fold to save money.

My alternative line was to call turn and c/f river.

Hi,

I think better is to call pf, since his range would likely be a little too strong that you can 3-bet there profitable.

If you take that he would open 12% UTG (that 20/16 might easily do), then you´re ahead on the flop and should rather take initiative:

So I´d prefer leading out there. c/c is also fine, but then you give him option barreling you any scare card+ he would exactly know that you have there some kind of medium pp.

Turn you´re flipping against his range:

and he would likely going to barrel there every time if he has AK, so I think c/c is better than c/f to then decide on the river.

If player has betsize tells- to bet close to pot with good hands and half pot bluffs, then you can also consider c/f flop, since he shouldn´t usually bet that board too big with AK

Hello Janosikgdy,

I don't like that much in those spots to donk. I mean of course it's possible but when the guy has CBet of 78% then why not let him CBet with hands like AJ-AK or whatsoever overcards which may fold to your donk. With his CBet turn he most likely is giving up there anyways and we can perfectly well play the way you did play. Nice hand!
