Grabbed by Holdem Manager
NL Holdem $0.10(BB) Replayer
SB ($2.41)
BB ($7.98)
CO ($21.65)
Hero ($10.20)

Dealt to Hero J♦ J♠ , fold, Hero raises to $0.40, fold, BB raises to $1.40, Hero calls $1

FLOP ($2.85) 5♦ 9♦ 2♥

BB bets $1.80, Hero calls $1.80

TURN ($6.45) 5♦ 9♦ 2♥ 6♥

BB bets $4.78 (AI), Hero folds

BB wins $6.13

Villain is 25/15/5.6/1.0 vpip/pfr/3b/af on a small sample of hands. I flat preflop and called on the flop because I still have a lot of equity on the board but not so much vs his 3bet range. Folded on the low turn card when he continued showing aggression and I put him on 99+. The only hand that I beat is TT or AK barrel here.

Was my train of thought correct on this hand?

Hello funnyclock,

Preflop: Well, against that kind of opponent I am not a big fan of calling the 3bet. He doesn't even have it very big. For the given sample it might be the case that with more hands it will be even smaller. At the best for us it's anyways just a coinflip. I would consider just folding it preflop.

As played
Postflop: Well, not much you can do here.

Best regards.
