when he shoved i was thinking: he could have a J, he could have a K or he could make one of those stupid fish bluffs wiht nothing. the likleyhood of the latter two seemed much higher then him haveing a J.

Hey tofu22,

it's so hard to fold these hands I know. But from experience I notice that they do this with the nuts more often then not.
It hurts so much to fold and I never do either (maybe a leak) but these players don't do such crazy things on this limit.

Id assume he had the J and made the crying call.
Maybe if he has a super high AF on the river or something. But yeah almost always has the J.

Hello tofu22,

Why didn't ya bet the flop? Standard bet there for protection. If they don't have a hand they wont pay you much either.

As played standard fold for us on river, I mean what you trying to achieve with the Call there? At the best a split for us? While Jx is even possible. Fold it and in long run you gonna save a lot more money than ever win in this spot.

You don't even know the opponent if he is capable of raising there with bluff and obviously it doesn't make sense for him to raise if he could just Call for split.
