My main question here is, did I have the implied odds to call the turn? Paying 69c into a $1.75 pot is about 2.5 to 1, and I only had 12 hard outs. And then when I make top pair on the river, is it worth calling? Should I have folded, or even bet instead?
If you can't lay down your TP type of hand then rather just fold it right on turn. I doubt that any worse hand is going to bet on river for value.
