No-Limit Hold'em, $0.04 BB (5 handed) - Hold'em Manager Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

SB ($4.77)
Hero (MP) ($4.14)
UTG ($1.65)
Button ($4)
BB ($14.20) (15/12/2.7/50/101) (VPIP/PFR/AF/WTSD/Hands)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 9, 9
UTG calls $0.04, Hero bets $0.16, 2 folds, BB calls $0.12, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.38) 5, 8, 6 (2 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $0.25, BB raises $0.68, Hero calls $0.43

Turn: ($1.74) 6 (2 players)
BB bets $1, Hero ???

On the flop, I assumed that Villain likely had a draw based on the way the hand was played. Then the turn came along, and all of a sudden I'm facing a large bet on a board where no draws could have completed. Is he bluffing? Does he have 8x? Or does he have a set? (Now turned into a boat/quads) Should I call or fold here?

Hello Salivanth,

Preflop: With one limper I'd still raise 5xBB.
Postflop: Well, I don't like your idea to continue here on flop. Most likely I'd just Bet/Fold it while sets and etc type of hands are possible. We don't know that much the opponent and he doesn't seem to be that aggressive either while playing SH for 15/12 it's way too nitty, most likely you are beat there.

Best Regards.
