89ss is a good hand to raise a SB limp at the middle blind levels. Anyway back to the hand,a regular is not going to do anything stupid and this means making a potsized bet without a hand. If we fold, we have a nice playable chip stack. If villain made a standard stabbing bet of 1/2pot, I would raise to 300, folding to a 3bet push.

When reg limps with these stacks it's quite often a plan to do limp-stab steal. So I might raise with any2 to 300, because he is very rarely calling. Depends bit on if he has limp-shove in his arsenal or not. So hand itself is most of time irrelevant from postflop playability view, if you decide to raise.

Flop is just fold imo with his pot size bet as jaxtraw said. Personally I like to just call even if he would do just ~half pot bet.

With a stack size of up to 15bb and your reads on him,I think it's pretty much a +EV play if you just shove preflop with your hand.As played-I'll just fold on the flop.
