44 hands/ 55/14/1,9 af/ 33 cbet fold/ 0 cbet river/ 50sb fold/ 45 bb fold

Flop is very ugly for us and good for his range so I bet big. When he calls I don't like it very much, because even if he's behind, he has many outs - FD, SD, dangerous low cards on later streets for 2 pair...

On turn flush comes but I do believe we have the best hand so I'm betting big. When he calls me it looks like he has a hand he likes. So after his call on the turn my initial thought was checking behind on the river and playing safe.

I'm don't remember my argument for betting this river. It was probably something like:" he doesn't have 6, more often he has 45, 74, 53 and maybe some set." I did see the flush but I just couldn't fold it against him.

Is betting smaller better? Or just checking behind? I don't like bet/fold here since we can see a free showdown and ...just don't like it :)

Hello yaxkukmian,

Well, the problem on river is that there are of course some 2pair type of hands and sets in his range. Although while there are just many draws completed like 6x/FD I'd prefer to skip the value and Check behind on river. :/

Best Regards.
