0.02/0.04 No-Limit Hold'em (8 handed)
Hand recorder used for this poker hand: PokerStrategy.com Elephant 0.105 by www.pokerstrategy.com.

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with A♣, Q♦
UTG2 calls $0.04, Hero raises to $0.20, MP2 calls $0.20, 6 folds.

Flop: ($0.50) A♦, 8♠, 5♠ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.32, MP2 calls $0.32.

Turn: ($1.14) J♦ (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks.

River: ($1.14) 4♦ (2 players)
Hero bets $0.81, MP2 calls $0.81.

Final Pot: $2.76

Results follow (highlight to see):
Hero shows (Ac Qd)
MP2 shows a pair of aces (Ah Kh)

MP2 wins with a pair of aces (Ah Kh)

Is this a good value bet despite the result? The way the hand played I don't really put him on a better hand, and I think I get called by worse Aces often enough, or should I just c/c?

somethings fucked up, the stack says that he had 1.1$ and you bet like 1.48 or so? :f_eek:
otherwise, id say just bet/bet/shove no need to check the turn

That was the stack of the pre-flop limper, the villain for the rest of the hand was MP2 with $4.

Hello Scooney,

Rather bet the turn again since you still need to protect your hand from FD. But obviously as you Check then either way bet yourself or just Check and let him bet with missed draws.

Best Regards.
