R: ca n I call in any chance? I block Ac + prob. any JXc and TXc would bet vs missed cbet I assume
I dont rly expect him to turn his hand into a bluff
I expect him to cal JX str8 and not shove
-> theres not many combos of value he could have
but in general I think I am calling fro a split or to lose

Either bet big on the turn or check - the small bet doesn't rep much except maybe draws, and in this case an observant opponent might just raise you.

As played it's a b/f on the river. A straight would raise smaller for value and he's not bluffing - this is almost always a flush that's trying to maximize value.

How can that guy possibly have a flush there? I don't get it. Tx doesn't chk F. If villain is aggro enough to spew even sometimes, i think it's a call. Obv if he's like you: a postflop nit, eeez fold.

It works well for me .

And btw I'm just a nit when it comes to calling bets or raises ;).

Well, didn't rly mean you with that, since i don't think i've ever seen you play and hence can't rly comment on your overall style. Shade tho, knows exactly what i mean with it :f_p:

Its jsut ur samplesize ...
but I am still thorn between folding and callign here ... he rly cant have many combos of flush but at the same time I dont see many hands he will decide to turn into a bluff rather than call (he would have to be really good and at NEVADA poker I would have to play 400Nl to take that into consideration)
fold is 0EV
Call is eaither slightly +Ev or slightly -EV so I am prob. all right w folding?
I mean, w/o an Ac it would be waay easier fold

ofc the first question i'm asking myself in this spot is "Is this guy good/bad enough to bluff here?" And by bluffs i mean Jx and some rare AJ-combos. And since you posted this hand, i assumed he prly is since the play is obvious otherwise.
