As somebody who has never completed a solid study of the articles on pokerstrategy, would anybody recommend Jared Tendler's book (considering the cost) as a good starting point to build up from zero to an advanced knowledge? (knowledge of a good mental game)

I should make clear I mean psychology articles of pokerstrategy.
I am at the beginning of my poker education/study however - I just want a book to read and have read that psychology books are the best due to the other high value content available in other areas.
I think Jared has a question and answer type section on the forums somewhere here. Bound to be some help there.

read the thread, not only the author but a lot of players have read the book (or are reading it) and comment on it.
I think it is good read and very helpful to improve the mindset.
