Never really sure whether it is worth shoving with QQ, but I think against such a short stack it is ok?

In some of the articles in the strategy section it suggests that it is not wrong to go bust with AK or QQ. Are these referring to SH or is that also true of FR games? AK always seems quite an underdog when someone is willing to either shove or call a shove pre-flop. What are your thoughts?
