Versus reg in these limits we are probably often versus weaker pocket pair preflop so flop call would not worry me. Reg would often check-raise with set in draw heavy board like this to protect his hand and get action before some scary turn kill possible action. But he might easily have 77 or 99 with a call. Depending of reads I might still second barrel half pot in turn or check-call.
