Played a number of hands with this guy and he donked me earlier with bottom pair so I decide to peel the 1 overcard flop and re-evaluate. When he checks to me I decide to protect against the flush draw, and also for a free show down.

Feel like I had a solid read in this spot but not sure if I'm being too results orientated.

Hello Meemawuk,

Well, seems to be totally fine. Usually the case is that they ain't donking with strong made hands but rather draws or weak hands which want to scare you away. As you see in this spot the guy even donnks this smallish which also indicates to rather a draw/weak hand. Nice hand!
