was this a bad call?
i played this hand today in a live SNG, 20 players, deepstack
was holding about 18000 chips (similiar as villain)
blinds: 100/200 (3rd blind level)
6 players @ the table
was holding

Preflop:
1 player calls, I call from CO, BU calls, SB folds, BB checks
Flop: (900)
8 :spade:J :heart:2
2 checks, Hero bets 700, BU calls, 1 fold, 1 call
Turn: (3000)

1 checks, Hero bets 1900, BU calls, 1 folds
River: (6800)

Hero bets 4500, BU raises (All in), Hero calls
Showdown:
Hero shows T :heart:9 :diamond:, straight, Jack high
Villain shows J :spade:7 :spade:, full house, sevens full of jacks
Plan worked perfectly, after 2 checks on the flop i decided to bet the flop with a straight draw, turn was the best card i could have hoped for, absolutely no draws out on the board + i made my straight. I bet again into 2 players, hoping someone would call me with a hand like KJ/QJ or even raise me with a flopped set.
Unluckily river was the worst card i could get.
Took me long enough to decide but i called. No hand that beat me made any sense. Didnt see him hitting a set on the flop, he'd probably raise me on the turn, also didnt put him on 77, that would be kinda weird play, didnt even think of a T9 hand like i had.. J7 popped out to mind, but i thought that would be a pretty loose preflop play, even on the BU (he looked like a tight player).
it was too late when i realized that actually there is not a hand i beat except of a bluff. its not like he'd do that with AJ/KJ type of hand and there is just no way he could have a lone 7 and no way he had an overpair in his hand cause of his flat call on the flop and turn.
So that got me out of tournament pretty quick, but i still feel i got really unlucky in that hand... i mean - backdoor full house? 
What u think? when the board paired on the river, should i have just check/called or bet/folded?
