NL6 SH - Value or preflop semibluff?

Do we 3b for value or as a preflop semibluff here? I assume as a semibluff because I would 3b fold. Someetimes he might call with AT IP, but I guess it depends heavily on opponent type.

Hello muel294,

Well, for value it means that you also plan to go broke. Do you plan to 3bet/Broke here with just AJs? What worse hands do you expect him to continue with 4bet? Not that the 3bet is wrong but just asking. :)

ahh makes sense. In addition to him calling with worse, we would also have expect him to 4b or go broke with worse preflop in order to make it a value 3b.

Therefore it is a preflop semibluff.
